Our Executive Team

Nikolas is the Co-President of The Policy Network and an Economics and Public Policy double major, with a minor in Data Science. His main research interests are in affordable housing and monetary policy. 

Bella is a junior from Asheville, NC, studying public policy and economics with a minor in French. She is passionate about affordable housing and education policy, interests that led her to The Policy Network as well as UNC Habitat, where she serves as fundraising chair. Driven by community service, she aspires to a career in nonprofits or local government working on social & economic mobility. In her free time, Bella enjoys hiking, rock climbing, soccer, and playing guitar. 

Maddie is a senior majoring in Public Policy with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Her academic focus is on mixed-method research surrounding social welfare policy and inequality. Through work with grassroots organizations on affordable housing issues and voter mobilization efforts, she has developed a strong passion for policy advocacy.

Katie is an Honors Carolina junior from Asheville, NC majoring in History and Public Policy. Outside of The Policy Network, she represents UNC students as the Finance and Appropriations Chair of the Undergraduate Senate, a senior leadership role. She is also a Krasno Assistant for the Krasno Global Affairs and Business Council, which hosts diplomacy and international policy experts for a series of regular lectures on campus. Last summer, she received a full-ride scholarship to study abroad in London and Oxford.
